Calle de las Veneras is a short street between Plaza de Santo Domingo and Postigo de San Martin, just behind the Callao cinemas. You can walk here from anywhere in the city centre, and there are four metro stations within seven minutes.
By metro
- Callao (L3 y L5): the closest one. About 2 minutes down Postigo de San Martin.
- Santo Domingo (L2): 3 minutes along Calle de las Veneras, almost in a straight line.
- Ópera (L2, L5 y R): about 5 minutes via Arenal and Postigo de San Martin.
- Sol (L1, L2, L3 y Cercanías): about 6 minutes along Preciados.
- EMT buses along Gran Via and Santo Domingo.
By car
- Parking Descalzas: the nearest one, a couple of minutes on foot.
- Parking Plaza de Santo Domingo: about 200 metres away.
- Parking San Bernardo: an alternative if the other two are full.
- We are inside the Centro district Low Emission Zone. If your vehicle is not permitted to drive through, head straight into one of the car parks in the area.
On foot
- Gran Via: 2 minutes, about 180 metres.
- Puerta del Sol: 5 minutes, about 450 metres.
- Plaza de Espana: 8 minutes, about 700 metres.
- Plaza Mayor: 10 minutes. Teatro Real and the Royal Palace: 10 to 12.
